Club’s Dinner/Social—February 2012

We changed the location for the February Get Together to The Q. Having a private room made for quicker dinning, a quieter environment and an enjoyable evening. Two new attendees were present; Cornelius Kinsey and Rusty Brown. Welcome! Hopefully everyone had a chance to get acquainted.

Shelley Fairbanks (our Events Coordinator) has some new ideas for future get-togethers. Locations will be provided as the dates approach.

On the activities front, the board has a number of activities spread throughout the summer. The Annual June Dinner at Teton Pines will kick off the year. We will have a fun “Quiz” with prizes for the winners in place of the auction. So read the newsletters.

The Porsche Club of America is holding its “Parade” in Salt Lake City this July. Eric Weber will help coordinate a go cart day at Miller Motorsports Park, dinners and arrange group drives from Jackson to Salt Lake if club members are interested in caravanning down together.

A new event is being added on August 18. A picnic will be catered by Bubbas Bar-B-Que and held at Owen Bircher Park in Wilson. It is guaranteed to be a fun day.

The final event is going to be an Autocross in September. Mike Mielke and Buck Fairbanks are working on a location. This should again be an exciting afternoon with either lunch or dinner served afterward.

Now that the schedule is set, all you have to do is plug the dates into your calendar and attend. We will all have a great time together.
