Yellowstone Region’s First Golf Outing!
Our club’s first golf outing was held this year at the beautiful Teton Springs Golf Course in Victor, Idaho. The July weather was delightful as our six four-somes enjoyed the beautiful mountain surroundings. The four-somes were grouped by their handicaps and a formula that gave every group a chance to win. Even though the scramble format was set up to be a fun and somewhat competitive event, the companionship is what made it special.
After the golfing was finished, we had a chance to talk about our good shots over a glass of beer and a well deserved dinner at the clubhouse. The group of Chuck & Kitty Brown, Jim Stockhouse and Phil Lowe took the honors and were presented a gift for their victory. Everyone had an enjoyable afternoon smacking the little white ball around the Idaho countryside.
